Refund Policy:
McLeod Digital does not sell any products, it is a digital marketing agency that provides marketing services to its clients.
McLeod Digital does not offer any refunds on its marketing services. Occasional exceptions may occur on a case by case basis depending on the circumstances, which is agreed to in advance in the written and signed Statement of Work (SOW) between McLeod Digital and the client.
This policy is due to the fact that we are a service based industry where our staff’s experience and time are tied directly to the deliverables.. Though we do not offer refunds for our experience, time, and work provided to the client, our contracts typically offer flexible and easy cancellation clauses allowing customers the option to cease all work and cancel contracts as detailed in the cancellation section below.
For development projects e.g. websites, apps, CRM systems, etc, a payment plan is put together and agreed to in advance between McLeod Digital and the client. A standard SOW for any development project also usually requires a non-refundable down payment of 50% of total project cost, with 25% due at a checkpoint agreed to between both parties, and final payment made at project completion.
Cancellation Policy:
A typical McLeod Digital contract does not require a long term commitment. McLeod Digital typically offers a month-to-month contract with the option for cancellation by providing a simple 30-day written notice. There are cases where either McLeod Digital or the client may require or request a longer contract due to budgets, timelines, etc. These more customized SOW’s with longer commitments are agreed to by both parties in advance of signing an SOW.
For standard SOW’s, McLeod Digital requires a non-refundable first month’s payment up front for work to commence. These are low risk contracts to the client due to the fact they are typically able to cancel with a 30-day written notice.
Cancellation options are also offered to the client for development projects, but are offered only after a non-refundable deposit is received. Project can then be canceled at any stage after, but will require payment for work already done and completed up to the point of cancellation for that development project.

McLeod Digital puts together a proposed Statement of Work (SOW), that includes all of the deliverables, timelines, details, and costs for the client to approve before work will commence. Once the SOW is approved and signed by the client and McLeod Digital, clients are invoiced and provided payment terms agreed to in advance by both parties. Every SOW is customized specific to each client to meet their needs on budget, timeline, payment terms, etc.
